This patient would most likely be seen in acute rehabilitation and then for outpatient therapy. Knowing that the insurance carrier will give you a limited number of sessions, how would you prioritize this patient’s functional outcomes?
How would you include the family/caregivers in this patient’s treatment plan?
What is his support system post discharge? What are some areas he will need help with and how can you as an SLP to assist in transferring or discharge?
