This is Mrs. McGurk's ninth year teaching at Red Lion Area Junior High. She loves teaching seventh grade English and is always looking for fun, interesting ways to get students excited about learning.

She has her Bachelor's in Secondary Education English and a minor in Literature from York College of Pennsylvania. Mrs. McGurk earned her Master's degree from McDaniel College in Secondary Education English Studies.

Her family is very important to her. She has a daughter named Lucy. Her mother, sister, and aunts are all teachers, too, so a love for education runs in the family!
