The team has high expectations for our students! We know that all students at the elementary levels are familiar with what PRIDE stands for and what it means to attend the junior high within the PRIDE Matrix since they were introduced to it during the 6th Grade Visitation.Team 7C has expectations that are aligned with the school's Pride Matrix. Below are the highlights for PRIDE and an attachment to the junior high matrix of expectations.


Appropriate Reading Material:

A book or other school appropriate reading material should be carried with you at all times.


Suggested Materials:

Earbuds/Headphones

Binder and/or Pocket Folders

Pencils


Procedures:

*You must ask permission before you go anywhere! You are required to sign in and out before you leave the room. You may not leave the room without a pass.

*Bathroom should be used between classes. The only exception is during individual work. Use the bathroom before quizzes or tests.

*You must be prepared with all materials when you arrive in class.

Consequence Steps:

Step 1 – Verbal Warning

Step 2 – Student fills out Student Letter to Parent Form

Step 3 – Team conference with student

Step 4 – Team conference with parent/guardian and student

Step 5 – Continued problems will be referred to administration in the main office


Cell Phone Policy:

Please refer to the student handbook for any questions regarding the cell phone policy.

Per the policy, you may bring your cell phones and electronic devices to class, however they will be kept in a teacher designated area upon arrival. On occasion, you may be allowed to use them for academic purposes with teacher permission.


Absence Policy:

Please refer to the student handbook for any questions regarding the absence policy.


Grading Policy:

Assignments 30%

Assessments 70%


Assignment Policy:

All assignments are due by the assigned date and period for full credit. Assignments may be turned in late for a reduced score according to individual teacher discretion.
