All weirs can be portaged.
Barford, Hampton Lucy, and Alveston Weir can be run (Water level and craft dependent).
Buoyancy aids must be worn if running a weir. Helmets are highly recommended.
Event Marshals will be on hand to guide both Portage and weir navigation.
Blue Arrow = Route on Water, Green Arrow = Portage on Land, Red No Entry = Route that must not be paddled.
Warwick Castle Weir must be portaged.
A marshal will be on the water before and after the weir to guide paddlers.
Approach the island to the left of the weir, and climb out by the bank (Marshals will be on hand to assist).
Once on the island, follow the marshals to the get-in point.
Please feel free to take pictures in front of the castle, but please be swift and do not exit on Warwick Castle grounds.Â

Hampton Lucy Weir can be run or portaged.
The portage is through a farm land. Please be respectful of the land and any potential grazing cattle.
A barbed-wire fence may be present at the portage. Pipe insulation will be used to cover this during the event.
The get-in/get-out may be muddy/boggy. Please wear suitable footwear for the portage.
