The Red Lion Area Senior High School Chamber Orchestra is an audition-based ensemble that rehearses after school every Monday evening. This select ensemble is for students who are looking to challenge themselves and their ensemble skills with advanced music specifically written for strings. This ensemble will explore a wide variety of composers, compositional styles, genres, performance techniques, and individuality responsibilities as a member of a chamber ensemble. There will also be extra performance opportunities as a part of this ensemble.
Students auditioning will do so virtually using Schoology - instructions and due dates can also be found on Schoology. I will post the list shortly after.
Rehearsals will be every Monday from 7-8:30pm. It is expected that all students attend these rehearsals, as each member of the ensemble is of equal importance. A full rehearsal schedule for the 2026-2027 school year can be found below.
