Students will be provided training in-school on how to access and utilize the online Learning Platforms and parent training will be posted on the District website to assist parents in facilitating learning.
Teachers will use a learning platform. K-2 teachers will use SeeSaw; Grades 3-6 teachers will use Google Classroom.
Community building and social-emotional learning...
Our priority is keeping everyone safe, which is why we will spend time focusing on these new procedures and expectations in the fall.
We have faculty members trained in trauma-informed teaching practices - awareness of what trauma is, how it affects the brain (reason for behavior) and what self care can be implemented and taught. Our school counselors and Cares Team Members will continue to collaborate with teachers to support students.
