Hello, my name is Megan Gavel. I have been a member of the Red Lion Area School District since 2011 and have been serving as a learning support teacher at the junior high since 2019.

My typical day involves teaching a small ELA class, co-teaching math and science, and providing individualized support to students in need.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in history, qualifying me to teach general education in grades K-6. I furthered my education with a Master of Education in Special Education, expanding my certification to Pre-K through 12.

Outside of school, I cherish time with my family, traveling with my husband and daughters, gardening, hiking, exploring, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors.
