EMERGENCY RENT, HOUSING and UTILITY INFORMATION
Households having difficulty paying their rent and/or utilities should seek assistance through the Emergency Rental and Utility Assistance Program. Find out how to apply through the state’s COMPASS website.
Households with low incomes behind on their heating bills should apply to the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) today to get assistance. The window to apply to the program closes in April.
HOMELESS AND UNACCOMPANIED YOUTH INFORMATION
Our Goal
To assist district families experiencing homelessness and connect them with the appropriate community resources, as well as reduce the disruption in the educational lives of students in the district who are experiencing homelessness.

Mrs. Strausbaugh and Dr. Shealer are both graduates of the Red Lion Area School District. Mrs. Strausbaugh has two boys, who both attend Red Lion and Dr. Shealer has a son, who graduated from the York County School of Technology and a middle school-aged daughter.
Mrs. Strausbaugh is a licensed social worker and certified home and school visitor and school social worker.
Dr. Shealer is a clinical social worker, certified home and school visitor and school social worker.
