Welcome to our math class! I'm excited to be your teacher this year!
My Purpose:
To inspire students to feel joy and confidence in their math skills
To give students a place to be physically, mentally and emotionally safe
To embrace challenges and always strive to improve and instill that drive in my students
About me:
This year, I am teaching Integrated Math 1, College Algebra and AP Statistics. In previous years, I have also taught Integrated Math 3, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and PreCalculus, so contact me anytime if you'd like some extra help in any of the above subjects!
I received my teaching credential and my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from UC Davis (GO AGS!), with minors in Education and Economics. I also have my Master's Degree in Math Education from Western Governor's University.
I am a 100% math nerd and think doing math is fun! I am also very interested in astronomy and love learning about quantum physics. When I'm not teaching or doing math, I love to go salsa dancing and spend time with my son.
