77% of Americans own a mobile device to access the internet daily. (Pew Research Fact Sheet, 2018).

The Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education found that technology, when implemented properly, can also close the achievement gap between students classified as “high-performing” and “at-risk.”

Project RED, a 1:1 Research Initiative, investigated 1:1 computing schools in America and identified key implementation factors that are linked most strongly to education success measures. Results of the study indicate:

  • Daily use of technology delivers the best return on investment
  • 1:1 schools outperform non 1:1 schools on both academic and financial issues.
  • Reduction in disciplinary actions and dropout rates.
  • Online collaboration increases student learning and engagement.

1:1 Initiative Boosts Student Scores. (Education Week, May 2016).
