Welcome to First Grade.  My name is Mrs. Locantore.  I have been teaching at Riverton School for 30+ years.  I’ve taught kindergarten, first, and fourth grades. I am currently in my 21st year of teaching first grade.  First grade is such a rewarding grade to teach as the children grow so much as readers and writers. Their growth and excitement for learning make my job so much fun!

   Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends (and my furbaby, Sally). This last year I spent a lot of time with my grandsons, Luca and Leo!!  My family and I love to spend time at the beach, basketball courts, lacrosse fields, and relaxing in our backyard.  However, I do need some down time by myself.  That is when I cuddle up on the sofa with a good book!
