Success and Self Care

Use Independent Time Wisely

Asynchronous courses are demanding and require you to keep on top of your work load and use your time wisely.

Visit Your Teacher During Their Virtual Office Hours

Take advantage of this time to get help from your teacher and find out what you can do to improve your grade in their class.

Check Your Grades and Email Daily

Use your online tools to your academic advantage. Check your Aeries frequently to make sure you are on track with your academic goals. Check your email several times each day. This will be a key form of communication from your teachers, peers, and the school. Check and use your Google Calendar and Classroom. These tools will help you master your time and keep you on track to succeed in class.

Eat, Play, Sleep

Fuel your body with healthy foods and get plenty of exercise and rest (early to bed and early to rise). Doing these simple things will help you have increased focus and energy for your studies.

Ask For Help If You Need It

There are many resources available on campus to help you be and feel your best! You can get academic help by visiting our in-person Learning Hubs (see home page), talking to your teacher through email and/or Google Meet, or using 24/7 PAPER tutoring (available on Clever).
