Bob the Musical Cat, is taking a stroll through the musical scale and hitting every note with his paw aka paw prints as he struts! Music is Everywhere
From Ms. Crespo's 4th grade class: "My class created their chalk art on our school planters. They drew what they loved about music, themselves playing music, or what reminds them of music. Their drawings were all unique and all have a different reason for their drawing. One example is a student drew a wave with musical notes coming out, and she said that music relaxes her and she thinks listening to waves is a symbol for relaxing."

The Shapes of Music
From Mrs. Rawlin's 2nd grade class: "We believe music and shapes go hand in hand. Musical rhythm involves a beat that is repeated over time. Visual rhythm is created by repeating shapes, lines, colors, or any other visual component. We wanted our piece to be bright and colorful because most of the time that is how music makes us feel. All of the shapes are different and look like pieces of a puzzle. An individual’s musical taste can be diverse and still fit together like pieces of a puzzle. After selecting geometric shapes that represented the sound students wanted to portray, they drew inside of the shapes based on musical inspiration."
