We believe that Pachappa scholars should feel a sense of belonging and ownership in Tiger Town, both in the classroom and beyond! To unite our school community, we welcome all staff and students every Monday at ROAR Round-Up. We ROAR for LEARNING!
Reminder
California Ed Code requires that if a child is to be picked up early, the parent must do so. In the past we have allowed anyone on the emergency card to act on your behalf.
In case of emergency or Illness..
ONLY individuals listed on the student’s emergency card will be permitted to pick up the student. Simply put, if someone other than the parent is picking up a student, they must be on the emergency release card or they will not be allowed to pick the student up.
If a student is being picked up for any non-school related reason...
The person removing or picking up the student must have written permission from the parent/legal guardian, even if they are listed on the emergency card. The written document must specify the name of the person who may pick the child up from school during school hours, the specific date, the purpose, and it must be signed by the parent.
Procedures
Please pull your car all the way forward in the morning on the Riverside Avenue school entrance. If there are available spaces, please park and wait for your child. It creates less traffic when you park. We want your child to always be safe. For your child's safety, do not drop your child on any of the main streets. It is dangerous and creates traffic jams. Thank you!
We will welcome your child to school. If you want to come in with them, you must sign in at the front office. Please follow these guidelines so that we can make sure that your child has a safe learning environment.
Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
Procedures
You are required to report absences within 3 days of the absence occurring. Any absences after 3 days will be considered unexcused.
To verify each student absence, please call the office and send a doctor's note the following day. You can also verify the absence online but a doctor's note will be required when your child goes back to school.
Reminder
Students show their school spirit by wearing their Pachappa shirt every Friday. Students and parents can buy their shirt from Pachappa's PTA.
