The application window for current 8th graders entering high school in the 27-28 school year is open from November 1 to December 20, 2026.

*Transfer Information
The transfer window for RUSD is open from November 1, 2026 through January 8, 2027. Students applying for enrollment in IB for the 2027-28 school year who live outside of North's attendance area MUST complete BOTH the APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT by December 20, 2026 and the APPROPRIATE TRANSFER FORM by January 8, 2027 (see links below).
If North HS is your home high school of residence, then NO TRANSFER is necessary. To be considered for participation in the IB program, simply complete the application for enrollment by DECEMBER 20, 2026.
What happens next? Students will be notified regarding acceptance into the program by January 8, 2027. Registration appointments will follow shortly after.
If you live WITHIN RUSD, but North HS IS NOT your home high school, then you will need to complete, sign, and return this transfer form by January 8, 2027 (in addition to completing the application for enrollment by December 20, 2026):

Completed intra forms for the upcoming school year must be received directly by Christine Schive at North HS by January 8, 2027. You may return the form by these methods:
drop forms off at the North HS front office during business hours (8:00am-4pm M-F)
scan and e-mail to cschive@riversideunified.org
mail forms to:

If you live OUTSIDE OF RUSD, then you should complete a District of Choice (DOC) Transfer online through the RUSD website by accessing this link:
www.riversideunified.org/departments/pupil-services/transfers
Once both the enrollment application and the online DOC transfer request have been completed, please complete this form and return it directly to Christine Schive at North HS no later than January 8, 2027:
