How do I apply?

• If North HS is your home high school of residence, then NO TRANSFER is necessary.  To be considered for participation in the IB program, simply complete the application for enrollment by DECEMBER 20, 2025. 

  • What happens next? Students will be notified regarding acceptance into the program by January 9, 2026. Registration appointments will follow shortly after.

• If you live WITHIN RUSD, but North HS IS NOT your home high school, then you will need to complete, sign, and return this transfer form by January 9, 2026 (in addition to completing the application for enrollment by December 20, 2025):

Completed intra forms for the upcoming school year must be received directly by Christine Schive at North HS by January 9, 2026.  You may return forms by these methods: 

1. drop forms off at the North HS front office during business hours (8:00am-4pm M-F)

2. scan and e-mail to cschive@riversideunified.org

3.  mail forms to:

REMINDER: Application for Enrollment deadline is December 20, 2025! Intra-transfer forms must be RECEIVED by Christine Schive no later than January 9, 2026!

• If you live OUTSIDE OF RUSD, then you must request an inter-district transfer from your district of residence for the school year you will enter high school.  

This Pending Inter-District Form should be attached to the release you request/receive from your district of residence (Este formulario pendiente entre distritos debe adjuntarse a la autorización que solicita/recibe de su distrito de residencia) :

For Inter-District Transfers, both items (Home District Release and IB Pending Inter Form) should be returned directly to RUSD pupil services by January 9, 2026:

• If you live OUTSIDE OF RUSD, but your student already attends an RUSD school and you have already completed a District of Choice transfer for 26-27, please complete this form:

and return it directly to Christine Schive at North HS no later than January 9, 2026.
