Riverside Unified School District Nutrition Services Department will offer to-go meals (breakfast and/or lunch) to students fasting during Ramadan to promote nutrition security, health equity, and to ensure children have access to the nutrition they need.
The initiative will be effective February 17 through March 19, 2026.
Meals are only available to currently enrolled Riverside Unified School District students.
Student(s) must be enrolled at the school site of the meal pickup location.
Meals can be picked up daily during the students regularly scheduled lunch time. These meals can easily be put away and can be consumed at a later time.
Students who participate in Ramadan to-go meals may only be allowed one breakfast and/or one lunch meal per day at no cost.
Please note: If your student decides to receive a regular lunch or breakfast meal during their designated school meal times, any second meals will be charged at normal a la carte pricing. The district will not deny meals to students who come into the cafeteria for breakfast or lunch.
