By The Riverside Faculty and Administration
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I say "goodbye" and a the biggest of "thank-you's" to the seniors that have written for me for the Viking Nation. This edition marks my third full year being the advisor of the school's newspaper. It has been amazing getting to highlight student's and events that have helped shaped the last three school years. I thank you so much Lillie Pon and Leah Pfeiffer for being apart of something that I feel is very special. In the coming years, I look at you as the trailblazers who helped to build the foundation of something special! I know all of you have very special futures ahead of you and I wish you nothing but success and health as you continue your journey beyond Riverside.
I hope in the future, you check back on the future student journalists who have written an article about their Riverside experience, and smile, knowing you helped shape it for them.
"donec nos videamus iterum"
Many thanks!
Mr. Trescavage

Class of 2024, it's finally happening! You're about to bid farewell to the hallowed halls of Riverside High School and venture into the wild, wonderful world beyond. I give you a round of applause for surviving all those essays, group projects, and Monday mornings.
Whether you're heading to college, joining the workforce or the military, or backpacking across Europe in search of the perfect croissant, I am confident you'll slay whatever comes your way. Yes, I did learn some cool idioms from the Class of 2024 😀.
As you don your cap and gown to strut your stuff across that stage, take a second to soak it all in. You've earned this moment of glory, complete with awkward family photos and maybe even a few tears (of joy, of course). And hey, if you happen to trip on your way to grab your diploma, just remember that in life, it's not the fall that matters, it's how gracefully you recover.
Class of 2024, thank you for the great memories. In September, I’ll be looking at your photos, mourning your absence.
Best Regards,
Ms. O’ Shea

🎓 Congrats to the Class of 2024! 🎓
I can't believe graduation is upon us! I remember going to Kindergarten registration with Dominick and meeting most of the Taylor kids like it was yesterday! Then, Taylor combined with Moosic and I got to teach a lot of you 5th grade! What a fun year that was. Not everyone gets to go to school with their own child like I did. I have been blessed to be around most of you for so many school events, either in my own classroom or field days, music performances, and field trips. I will cherish these memories forever. The friends that Dominick has made have turned into family and I am forever grateful for all of you. I know you will all be successful in whatever comes next and I can't wait to follow your journeys. I love you all.
And to Dominick, I could not be prouder of the person you have become. The world is waiting and you will do amazing things! Being your mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you! Congratulations! ❤️
Love, Mrs. DeAngelo (& Mom)

To the Class of 2024,
I have known a lot of you since you were in pre-school, and some before you were even born. I have felt such great joy in watching all of you succeed in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. I loved watching your personalities develop as you went from toddlers to teens to young adults. This is just the beginning! Stay true to yourselves and your goals and all of it is possible. I will always be here if you ever need anything.
With love, Ms. Micciche
