I graduated from Riverside in 2001. I went to King's College in Wilkes-Barre and graduated in 2005 with a BA in English with a Secondary Education certification. I first worked at Forest City Regional teaching 7th grade English and 8th grade Reading. I began working at Riverside in 2006. I have taught grades 8, 9, and 11 over the years. I currently teach Language Arts 9 and Intro to Research in Room 241 as well as co-teaching Musical Theatre with Mr. Geise. I am also the 9th grade class advisor and Drama Club advisor. I also am the director of the spring musicals. I coach for the annual NEIU reading competition. I love to be involved in as many ways as I can.

I live in Taylor with my husband Tim and two kids, Olivia and Malcolm. I love to read and dance. I love Shakespeare, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, Game of Thrones, and the Marvel universe.
