BIOGRAPHY:

Coach Darrell Frain is in his seventh year at Riverside, serving as the Athletic Director, Head Football Coach, Weight Training Coach, and Credit Recovery teacher. Before coming to Riverside, Coach Frain taught Special Education/Fitness PE and coached at Creston High School for 26 years. Coach Frain lives in Carson with his wife Kim and has three grown children, Madison, Trevor, and Brody and a grandson, Johnny.

BIOGRAPHY:

Coach Tyler Johannsen has been teaching and coaching at Riverside for 8 years. Prior to Riverside, Coach Johannsen played football at Harlan Community High School and received his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University. He currently serves Riverside as the 6-12 Assistant Principal.

BIOGRAPHY:

Coach Deven Moore has been on staff since the 2017 season. He is graduate of Riverside High School, and also played collegiately at Peru State College. Coach Moore works for TS Bank as a Data Analyst and he and his wife Amber and his son Declan reside in Oakland.

Jared hoffman

BIOGRAPHY:

Coach Jared Hoffman is a graduate of Griswold High School and then went on to graduate from Concordia University, where he was an All-American mid-distance runner on the track team. Coach Hoffman serves Riverside as a junior high social studies teacher and is the Head Coach of the Girl's Track team. He currently resides in Oakland with his wife Jess and has two young children, Mia & Luke.

CLAYTON MICHAEL

BIOGRAPHY:

Coach Clayton Michael is a graduate of Logan-Magnolia High School and then went on to graduate from Iowa State University. Coach Michael is in high third year of teaching Middle School Science at Riverside and also serves as a Middle School Track coach & Freshmen Baseball coach. He resides in Oakland with his wife Amber and their four young children: Marlon, Warren, Ellis, & Blythe.
