Students must produce the coursework independently to the best of their ability and look the criteria required in the assignments to achieve grades within set time frames. Students must take ownership of their work and create their best work- not just do set tasks - MAKE IT YOUR OWN!
Teachers are not allowed to give individuals specific guidance on how to improve work or how to get specific grades (e.g. how to get a distinction, merit or pass) in coursework.
Teachers must teach, explain and can give general guidance on how the different grades can be achieved in coursework.
You will get “RAWL expected grades” in your reports throughout the course that will tell you the level you are working at. This is not specific to any unit, more a general level of attainment achieved from all aspects of your course (classwork, homework, coursework or any internal/external assessments).
Plagiarism is NOT ALLOWED – all writing must be your own, (no copying and pasting !!!!) , and your must have a Bibliography of sources used for each task. All work is always checked for plagiarism using an online checker. There will be repercussions if plagiarism is found.
Failure to meet target grade will mean your P5 off site privilege will be removed until you are back on target.
