Our Program

Our program provides instruction aligned with the WIDA Standards and the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.

Our instruction is based on thematic language units comprising the four language domains of listening, speaking, reading, and writing at all proficiency levels. 

• Students receive instruction in small groups in the ESL classroom.

• Students receive language support in their general education classrooms.

• Students learn content and language together in linguistically and culturally sustaining ways.

Students are assessed annually with WIDA ACCESS for ELLs.
