Frequently Asked Questions.

Which instrument is the easiest?

NONE OF THEM!

Each instrument is challenging and rewarding in its own way. There is no such thing as an "easy" instrument.

How much time should I spend practicing my instrument?

Every instrument requires adequate practice time. If you're just starting out, one hour per week split between 3-4 days is the minimum amount you should expect to practice in order to see results. As you advance, that time only increases.

How should I choose the right instrument for me?

Listen to multiple examples of each instrument. My suggestion is to go with the one you like the sound of most. Having a love for your instrument, and the way it sounds, will inspire you to practice and overcome challenges you may face!

How do I get an instrument?

There are lots of ways you can get an instrument including purchasing or renting from a music retail location. The Music Shop is one option available for those who prefer to have their instrument and supplies delivered to the school. However, there are many great music stores in the area including Musichood, O'diBella Music, and Music & Arts. While there is no requirement on where to obtain an instrument, please be cautious of purchasing one online as it is difficult to guarantee quality control of the instruments being sold. Before renting or purchasing any instrument, please make sure you have been approved to play that instrument with Ms. Cuadra first!

How to I return a rented Instrument?

Please reach out to the store you have rented from. They will give you detailed steps on returning an instrument.
