My name is Mrs. Lazor. This is my 9th year teaching at Cherry Hill School and 15th year teaching in total! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University, along with a Minor in Elementary Math and Art. I also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After college I moved to Fairfax County, Virginia for a fifth grade teaching position. I lived and taught in Virginia for four years before moving to New Jersey in 2015.
My husband and I have two little boys, Weston and Roman. It is really fun watching them learn new things! Weston is six and in first grade. Roman is five and in kindergarten!
All of our family lives in Pittsburgh where we grew up. I have one sister that is also a sixth grade teacher! I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews there as well.
In my free time I love to visit my family in Pittsburgh. I am a huge sports fan and enjoy going to Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins games whenever I get the chance! We often go to games here in NJ/NY when our teams come to town. I also love art. I thought in high school I wanted to be an art teacher, but later changed my mind in college and only added an art education minor. I still love to draw and paint at home when I get time! I also have two cats, AWOL and Gonzo.
