About Mrs. Lazor

My name is Mrs. Lazor. This is my 8th year teaching at Cherry Hill School and 14th year teaching in total! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University, along with a Minor in Elementary Math and Art. I also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After college I moved to Fairfax County, Virginia for a fifth grade teaching position. I lived and taught in Virginia for four years before moving to New Jersey in 2015.

My husband and I have two little boys, Weston and Roman. It is really fun watching them learn new things! Weston is five and Roman is four!

I have one sister that lives in Pittsburgh. I also have 2 nieces and 3 nephews there as well.

In my free time I love to visit my family in Pittsburgh. I am a huge sports fan and enjoy going to Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins games whenever I get the chance! I also love art. I thought in high school I wanted to be an art teacher, but later changed my mind in college and only added an art education minor. I still love to draw and paint at home when I get time! In the Spring of 2016, my husband and I adopted two kittens. We named them AWOL and Gonzo.
