Homework

Homework

Math: Students will receive one page of math homework per night. 

Spelling/Vocabulary: Students will alternate between spelling and vocabulary words each week. During spelling weeks they will receive a packet for homework. During vocabulary weeks they will receive online assignments. 

Reading: Students should read for 20-30 minutes each night! 

Homework Policies

1) Homework is extra practice for what we learned that day. It SHOULD NOT be causing unnecessary stress for you or your child. If your child is struggling with a homework assignment write me a note and I will complete it with them the following day in school!   

2) Homework will be checked each morning at the start of school. 

3) Homework will be sent home in your child's yellow folder!  

4) Homework will not be assigned over weekends. If there is ever a homework assignment that interferes with a religious obligation please let me know and I will excuse your child from that assignment. 

5) I am very flexible with homework, if you have any questions or concerns please let me know and we can discuss together!
