I am Mrs. Maria Helena Garcia and I will be your child’ Spanish teacher this year.

I am looking forward to contributing to your child’s growth in his/her Spanish skills.

I am a Certified Spanish Teacher. I obtained my M.A. and B.A. in Spanish Education from Jersey City University and Salamanca University in Spain. I have eighteen years of experience teaching Spanish at different levels: Elementary, Middle school, and College.

I have been married for 28 years and have one wonderful son.

I love to learn about different cultures, teach, travel, read, and spend quality time with my family.

I love my native language and culture and it will be a pleasure to share it with your child.
