I joined the Riverdale Team at the end of Term 3, 2020 and when I was offered the chance to return again this year I jumped at the opportunity. Over the years I have taught at all levels but I particularly enjoy teaching Year 5 and 6 students. With support and encouragement this age group are dynamic learners and it is awesome to be part of their learning. Although I am from Gisborne, Riverdale is the first school that I have worked in, in my home town. All my teaching has been in Auckland and Christchurch where I lived before moving home.

This year Te Wherowhero students will continue to work with the Manaiakalani Team as many of them did last year and I will be learning alongside the tamariki. I am looking forward to the challenge and fun this programme will bring to our learning.
