Teaching Philosophy
I believe the best learning happens as we struggle through the problems we face. In my classroom we focus on inquiry into these problems- learning how to approach, dissect, and eventually solve them. We all grow together as we try, fail, and try again.
About me
This is my second year teaching at Riverdale High school. I have my BS in Chemistry and my MA in Secondary Education from Northwest Nazarene University. When I’m not in the classroom I love making music, reading books, writing poetry and playing soccer.
