TUTORING POLICY

• TUTORING TIMES 

OPTIONS: 60-minute or 90-minute sessions

Monday to Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. 

(Wednesdays 4:00 to 5:00 pm)

TA or IA TUTORS: 

Monday to Friday from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

• PACKAGES

10 hours or 15 hours
(Ten 1-hour sessions or 90-minute* sessions) 

*If students choose 90-minute sessions, they must sign up for the 15-hour package.

• LOCATIONS

  • FOR ELEMENTARY
    Two teachers must tutor in the same room (Child Safeguarding requirements).

  • FOR SECONDARY
    HS in Griffith Library reserved areas/rooms; MS at Student Center

• TUTORS

Per school policy, teachers cannot tutor their students. For a list of possible tutors, please visit:

Tutors will be booked on a first-come-first-come-first-served basis. The program coordinator will do their best to match a teacher with the needs of a student(s), depending on the availability of the tutors.

• CHANGING TUTORS or REFUNDING

To change a tutor* or request a refund, kindly email the Tutoring Program Coordinator within the first two sessions at tutoringprogram@rism.ac.th. No change or refund will be made after that.

*CHANGING TUTORS
The program coordinator will do their best to meet requests, but changes will depend on the availability of other tutors. Parents will be eligible for a refund for the remaining eight sessions if a new tutor-student match is unavailable. 

IF A TUTOR IS UNAVAILABLE TO COMPLETE A PACKAGE
The program coordinator will do their best to find a replacement. Parents will be eligible for a refund for the remaining sessions if a new tutor-student match is unavailable.

• RESCHEDULING

  • FOR INDIVIDUAL TUTORING
    The tutor and the student must notify the other party in writing within 24 hours before the scheduled tutoring time. Otherwise, the session will be considered a cancellation. Please send a CC to tutoringprogram@rism.ac.th in your email.

  • MAKE-UP SESSIONS need to be arranged individually with the tutor.

• MEDICAL/HEALTH ISSUES

If your child has any medical/health issues that your child’s tutor should know about, please inform the tutor as soon as possible, as well as the clinic (clinic@rism.ac.th).

• AFTER-SCHOOL PICK-UP FOR ELEMENTARY

Please pick up your child promptly. There is no after-school supervision.
