RIS PHOENIX BADMINTON ACADEMY
Welcome to the RIS Phoenix Badminton Academy. Our mission is to provide high-quality coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities, serving the RIS community. Our coaches encourage every athlete to achieve continued improvement and success at his or her level of ability; from novice badminton players, to the more advanced level of student-athletics. Come and join our ever-growing community of badminton enthusiasts at the RIS Phoenix Badminton Academy.
Each week, the RIS Badminton Academy is held over two days:
WEDNESDAY: 3:00pm - 4:00pm
SATURDAY: 9:00am - 11:00am (one hour classes maximum)

Which level best suits your child?
We have several different levels to accommodate players of varying ages. The grade levels highlighted below are guides only. All students will be initially assessed then placed into the correct squad, with both age level and skill set taken into consideration.
Grassroots
Grades: Prek - Grade 1
Venue: Phoenix Hall
This program is ideal for our very early badminton beginners. Many students are usually brand new to the game, or are still learning the very basic skills. Sessions will be divided into 10-15 min windows, which will better accommodate our younger badminton players.
Development
Grades: Grade 2 - Grade 4
Venue: Phoenix Hall
This program is ideal for students who have experienced basketball academies in the past. Students can already complete basic skills like dribbling and shooting, but are in need of further development in these areas. This group usually consists of mid-upper elementary students.
Advanced Junior
Grades: 5 and above
Venue: Phoenix Hall
This squad consists primarily of students in upper-elementary and above who have greater foundational skills and have more experience in the game of badminton. Students will enjoy a more challenging academy experience.
Advanced Senior
Grades: 6 and above
Venue: Phoenix Hall
This squad consists primarily of students in middle school and above who have greater foundational skills and have more experience in the game of badminton. Students will enjoy a more challenging academy experience.
Season 4 Fees
Season 4 Badminton Academy Fee:
One day per week = 2,500 THB
Two days per week = 5,000 THB
Parents must complete payment before submitting the registration form. Simply scan the QR at the end of the registration form, make payment, and attach the pay-in slip directly on the form.
