Turn on the keyboard. There is a power button on the right hand side.
On iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth, then turn on Bluetooth.
Tap the "keyboard" option when it appears in the Other Devices list in the bluetooth menu.
You will then see a code that is generated which is used to sync the keyboard to the iPad.
Once it’s paired, the keyboard reconnects to the iPad whenever it's within range. When it’s connected, the onscreen keyboard will not work. You cannot use onscreen keyboards and wireless ones, at the same time.
Switch Bluetooth to off position, should you want to use the onscreen keyboard instead.
Open two different apps, by splitting the screen into resizable windows. For example, open the "Google Meet App" to join a video call while also, "browsing a webpage" at the same time in Split View.
While using an app, swipe up from the bottom edge and pause to reveal the Dock.
Touch and hold an app in the Dock, drag it to the right or left edge of the screen, then lift your finger.
If two items are already open in Split View, drag over the item you want to replace.
To give both views equal space, drag the divider to the center of the screen.
1.) Tap open the "Settings" Icon
2.) Select "WI-FI"
3.) Toggle Wi-Fi button on and off and then back on once more.
If it fails to reconnect to the automatically joined network "ap@540" or "ap@WCSD," try switching to the district's
"guest network" by selecting:
"guest@WCSD"
Upon requesting to join it should prompt you to enter a password, which is:
"k12guest" (all lowercase/one word.)
If we've provided you with a district issued HOTSPOT device you will need to input that information instead.
Hold down the Power button and the Home button simultaneously until the iPad turns off and reboots. You can let go when you see the Apple logo on the screen. (This is a catch all fix for most iPad issues.)
If Orientation Lock is turned on, the screen won't rotate.
Access the Control Center by swiping the top right corner of any screen and then dragging it downward.
Tap the Orientation icon to turn on.
When the icon is highlighted in red, the Orientation Lock is turned on.
