Follow the Step Below to Create your Animated Story Remotely

Map it Out
Open the Map it Out Graphic Organizer and start to map out your story. Think about what you want to happen first. What do you want your Character to do and say. Create an outline of your general story. Click on the Map to the Left to open the Map it Out Graphic Organizer

Write The Script
Now that you have an idea of what your story will be about, turn your outline into a script. Use the Script Template to Organize and Create your Script. Remember to follow the formatting presented if you are using more that two characters or have screen changes.
Table Read
Have each member read the script to ensure it sounds good and fits the timing you want. Make changes as needed and also work on pace of your reading.
Plan Your Moves
Start Looking at the Animation options and plan out what moves might work best for your story. When you have an idea of what moves you want with what parts of the script, start storyboarding your anaimation.
Storyboard It!
Break up your script into its individual animations and actions. Complete a storyboard cell for each animation so the animator can easily and quickly animate your story. Click on the picture of a storyboard to open the Storyboard Template. Make a copy and in
Record It!
Use a audio recording program such as Audacity on a Windows or Mac Computer or Twisted Wave if using a Chromebook. Make sure to have a quiet set and record in a clear voice. If you make a mistake, re-record your audio. Download your audio as a WAV file.
Send it Animation!
Collect all your files and put them all together. Make sure you have your script, audio files, backgrounds, storyboards, and any character files needed to animate.
Post Production
Once you have your animated video, it is time to add sounds, music, and titles. Use WeVideo to Import your video and edit it. Add titles, add background Noises, and Overlays. Make it amazing!
