Meet Our Founder:

With more than two decades of hands-on electrical experience, Chad Riley has built REM—Riley Electrical & Maintenance—into one of the most trusted full-service electrical, pump, and equipment repair companies in East Tennessee. Based in Chattanooga and proudly serving Tennessee, Chad has earned a reputation for unmatched expertise, reliability, and craftsmanship.

Chad began his electrical journey at just seventeen years old, working his way up from the shop floor of a temporary power company to mastering advanced motor controls and automation in the Los Angeles Basin oil fields. His career later took him to Kona, Hawaii, where he expanded into mechanical work, pump systems, and ultimately discovered what would become one of REM’s signature specialties—the coffee industry. Today, Chad is known throughout commercial businesses for his ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot complex equipment, including the sophisticated machines used in well-known coffee chain locations across the region.

Driven by a passion for problem-solving, continuous learning, and exceptional customer service—and supported every step by his wife and family—Chad founded REM in 2022. His company now delivers comprehensive electrical services, water filtration installation, irrigation and pump system repair, and full-service maintenance programs for golf courses, farms, commercial facilities, and residential customers.

As a licensed and insured electrical contractor, Rain Bird ASP, and Watertronics ASP, Chad combines technical precision with small-town integrity.
