 Student Commuter Pass (as of May 2022) :￥2,710 for 1month, ￥7,730 for 3months, ￥14,650 for 6months 

Floor Co-Ed Floor & Same sex floor (the number of rooms on the same sex floor is very limited)

Room facilities Single 18 m2 / Prefabricated bath, separate toilet, air conditioner, bed (without mattress), desk, chair, bookshelf, closet, kitchenette, refrigerator, curtain, lamp, shoe box, IP telephone, Internet, TV terminal, etc...  

Common facilities Dining Room, Mail box, Laundry Room, Garbage Pit, Bicycle Parking lot, Elevators, etc... 

・Laundry rooms are separated by gender and located on the 1st floor. The laundry rooms are open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. While washing machines can be used free of charge, you must pay for the dryers. 

【Study Period】 【Contract Period ・Dormitory fee special price※１】

(Housing expenses are the same as RUID Shiki. RUID Shiki and Asakadai are managed by the same company.)

※1　You are also required to bear the other related expenses as follows in addition to the dormitory fee.

・Fire Insurance　￥3,000 (one-time)

・Telephone and Internet Fee　￥3,960 +IP telephone calling rate (per month)

・Electricity fee ￥7,150

・Meal Plan　￥17,066 (per month)  <Optional>　※Plan changes can be made only once during your stay.

※2　If you wish to reside in the dormitory for one academic year, you need to make a payment for the additional dormitory fee as follows.

　・If you continue to reside from spring semester to fall semester

　　The dormitory fee (approximately￥357,000) for August to February (7 months) must be paid by the end of July.

　・ If you continue to reside from fall semester to spring semester

　　The dormitory fee (approximately ￥255,000) for March to July (5 months) must be paid by the end of February.

※3　Special international students  can stay at the dormitories at a special price. This is because Rikkyo covers a part of the dormitory fees. 

      The optional services fee is payable after you arrive in Japan by bank transfer in cash. The meal plan is paid every month while the bedding lease is paid all at once in the first month. Credit card payment is not available. 

◎Bedding rental ○

You can apply for bedding rental as an optional service. Bedclothes leasing includes a comforter, a pillow, and a bed sheet. Bed sheets can be exchanged on a regular basis. Prior application is necessary for bedclothes leasing. After receipt of application, cancellation will not be accepted, and there will be no refund for cancellation.

・The bedding rental of RUID Asakadai  and Shiki comes with a urethane foam mattress.

◎Meal Plan ○

RUID Asakadai  and Shiki serve meals as an optional service. Please note that meals will not be served on Sundays, national holidays and some other specific days. You may also prepare meals on your own. Each room comes with an electronic cooker and a refrigerator.

・Monthly fee (As of January 2023)       ￥17,066 (per month) 

・As of January 2023, the management company is unable to meet specific dietary requirements for health or religious reasons at this moment. In this case, you are encouraged to cook on your own in your room. 

・You may only change your application once during the fiscal year.

・If you arrive in March, meals are also not served during spring vacation time (until the end of March). You are encouraged to cook on your own in your room. 

Note: Curfew has been abolished as of the spring semester of 2023.
