※1　The dormitory fee includes food service fee (breakfast and dinner), utility fee, Internet fee, security support fee and cleaning fee.

　・You are required to purchase a full meal plan (It is mandatory).

　・Gas fee will be charged additionally (Approximately ￥4,000 per month).

※2　If you wish to reside in the dormitory for one academic year, you are required to bear the additional dormitory fee as follows.

　・ If you continue to reside from spring semester to fall semester

　　The dormitory fee (approximately￥620,000) for August to February (7 months) must be paid by the end of July.

　・If you continue to reside from fall semester to spring semester

　　The dormitory fee (approximately￥440,000) for March to July (5 months) must be paid by the end of February.

※3　Special international students  can stay at the dormitories at a special price. This is because Rikkyo covers a part of the dormitory fees. 

The optional service (bedding lease) fee is to be collected after your arrival in Japan all at once in cash by the International Office. You are required to purchase a full meal plan (It is mandatory).

◎Bedding rental ○

You can apply for bedding rental as an optional service. Bedclothes leasing includes a comforter, a pillow, and a bed sheet. Bed sheets can be exchanged on a regular basis. Prior application is necessary for bedclothes leasing. After receipt of application, cancellation will not be accepted, and there will be no refund for cancellation.

・As  for RIR Shiinamachi, a mattress is placed in each room regardless whether you apply for the service or not.

◎Meal Plan（Application not needed）○

・All residents of RIR Shiinamachi must purchase a meal plan for breakfast and dinner. 

・Kitchen units are not placed inside the rooms or in common areas of this dormitory, so you cannot cook for yourself. 

・Please note that meals will not be served on Sundays,or national holidays. Meals are also not served during summer vacation time (five days in the middle of August), winter vacation time (five days during year-end and new-year) or spring vacation time (11 days at the end of March: March 21 to March 31).

・As of January 2023, the management company is unable to meet specific dietary requirements for health or religious reasons at this moment. In this case, please number RIR Shiinamachi as the lowest priority when you apply for dormitories, and describe your situation on the dormitory application form.
