ご自身で部屋探しをされる場合、以下の会社の利用を紹介します。なお、各会社のホームページの記載内容、および各社によって仲介される物件の居住環境及び賃貸契約内容について、立教大学は一切の責任を負いません。
Here is the information for finding your housing in Japan. Please note that Rikkyo University will not take responsibility for the contents on the companies’ websites as well as for the terms of the housing contracts and the living conditions of the apartments/flats listed below.

【シェアハウスや学生用宿舎を扱う会社・物件】
Shared apartments or accommodation for students
短期間（1学期～2学期）の留学の場合、正規学生と同様にアパートを契約することは難しいことが多いですが、以下に紹介する会社・物件は短期間の契約（3か月～）も可能です。
If your study period at Rikkyo is within one year, it might be difficult to rent a ordinary apartment because the usual housing contract term is set for two years. The following companies offer accommodation for a short period of time (three months~).
株式会社 BeGood Japanは、一戸建ての物件やファミリータイプのマンションをルームシェア用の住居として紹介する事業を東京都内にて展開する不動産会社です。立教大学のキャンパスに近い物件も提供しています。BeGood Japan is a company which manages reasonably priced, furnished share-houses in Tokyo area. They offer some share-houses that are close to Rikkyo campus.

There is a property 1 minute walk to Rikkyo University Ikebukuro Campus.

立教大学の寮の一つであるグローバルハウスの管理運営を行う第一恒産株式会社が運営するシェアハウスです。家賃 5万円～6万円以下で家具が備え付けられています。バイリンガルスタッフも常駐しています。
DK House is a reasonably priced (about 50,000~60,000yen/month) furnished share-house managed by Daiichi-Kousan Co.,Ltd. Bilingual staff is always on duty.

Uninest Student Residences is part of the Global Student Accommodation family, with over 25 years experience of student accommodation in cities across Ireland, Germany, Dubai and the UK. Their first residence in Japan, Hakusan house, was opened in Tokyo in April 2018. Bilingual staff is always on duty.

日本ではアパートを契約する際に保証人を立てることが求められています。一般的に保証人の要件としては、「日本国籍であることと」、「一定の収入のあること」が求められており、留学生に対して大きな障壁となっています。ここでは個人的に保証人を見つけなくても物件の契約ができる会社をご紹介します（保証会社などを利用することになります）。日本の保証人制度についてはこちらのサイトが参考になりますのでご参照ください。
In Japan you need a guarantor to rent an apartment. This is a major obstacle for international students as the general guarantor’s requirements include “to hold Japanese nationality” and “to possess an income of certain amount”. Here we refer you to several companies that will allow you to rent an apartment without personal guarantor. (You will have to use guarantor company instead.) Refer for details about the guarantor system in Japan to this website.
