Classes may be cancelled due to worsening weather conditions such as an approaching typhoon or the effects of a disaster such as a major earthquake. For details of such special measures are decided, check Rikkyo Emergency Information（this page）, Rikkyo SPIRIT top page ,Rikkyo University Website or Bulletin Board etc.
＊ These measures may also be taken during exam period.
＊ Information on the University's administrative operations and the availability of its facilities will be updated on the each department SPIRIT website or on bulletin board etc.
Operation of the Emergency Contact System
The University operates an emergency communication system that utilizes the e-mail function of cell phones as a means of making urgent and important communications, such as confirming the safety of students, faculty, and staff in the event of a natural disaster such as a large-scale earthquake, or notifying that all classes are cancelled due to influenza, etc. The system is also used to send out messages to students, faculty, and staff in the event of an emergency.
