To provide search functionality, Face Finder securely sends the submitted image to our third-party image search service provider, FaceCheck.ID.

Face Finder does not independently maintain a database of individuals, verify a person's identity, conduct background checks, or guarantee that search results relate to the person shown in the submitted image.

Search results are generated using automated image-similarity technology and are provided for informational and discovery purposes only.

By accessing or using Face Finder, you agree to use the App responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with these Terms.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Face Finder - AI Face Search ("Face Finder", the "App", "we", "our", or "us").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Face Finder, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use Face Finder.

Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how information may be collected, processed, shared, retained, and protected.

We may revise these Terms when necessary. If you continue using Face Finder after revised Terms become effective, your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Face Finder provides reverse image face search functionality that helps users discover visually similar images from supported publicly accessible web sources.

The App allows users to:

• Select an image stored on their Android device.

• Take a new photo using the device's camera.

• Provide a publicly accessible image URL.

When you initiate a search, the selected image is securely transmitted to our third-party image search service provider, FaceCheck.ID, for processing.

Face Finder serves as an interface for accessing the search functionality and does not independently operate or maintain a database of individuals.

Face Finder does not:

• Establish or verify a person's identity.

• Confirm names or other personal details.

• Conduct background checks.

• Create persistent biometric identity profiles.

• Make decisions or assessments about individuals.

Search results may contain image thumbnails, similarity scores, public source links, and related information returned by the search provider.

Because results are generated automatically, they may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unrelated to the person depicted in the submitted image.

Face Finder does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, relevance, reliability, or continued availability of search results.

3. Eligibility

Face Finder is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

By using Face Finder, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.

• You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

• You will use the App in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The App is not intended for children.

You must not upload, submit, or search images of anyone under the age of 18.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of Face Finder and the images you choose to submit.

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use Face Finder only for lawful and legitimate purposes.

• Submit only images that you own or have the necessary rights or permission to use.

• Respect the privacy and legal rights of other individuals.

• Comply with applicable local, national, and international laws.

• Independently review and evaluate search results.

• Understand that automated search technology may produce incorrect or unrelated matches.

• Exercise appropriate judgment before relying on information obtained through search results.

Face Finder is provided as a search and discovery tool. You remain responsible for your actions and for how you interpret or use information obtained through the App.

5. Responsible & Acceptable Use

Face Finder must be used responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with applicable law.

You agree that you will not use Face Finder to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or unlawfully monitor another individual.

• Violate another person's privacy or legal rights.

• Submit images that you do not have the necessary right or permission to use.

• Upload, submit, or search images of anyone under 18.

• Identify anonymous individuals or attempt to confirm someone's identity.

• Present a search result or similarity score as proof of identity.

• Use search results as legal evidence.

• Make decisions relating to employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, immigration, healthcare, law enforcement, tenant screening, or another high-impact purpose.

• Collect, publish, sell, distribute, or misuse personal information obtained from search results.

• Engage in discrimination, impersonation, fraud, unlawful surveillance, or other illegal activities.

• Reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to Face Finder or its supporting services.

• Bypass subscriptions, credits, payment systems, security protections, usage limits, or technical restrictions.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Face Finder complies with applicable law and respects the rights of others.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe the App is being misused or these Terms have been violated.

6. Face Search & Search Results Disclaimer

Face Finder provides access to automated reverse image face search functionality through a third-party image search provider.

Face Finder itself does not create, maintain, or operate an independent database of individuals.

Search results are generated using automated visual-similarity technology and information supplied by the third-party search provider.

By using Face Finder, you understand that:

• Search results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, irrelevant, or unrelated.

• Similar-looking individuals may appear in search results.

• A similarity or match score represents visual similarity and does not establish or confirm identity.

• Face Finder does not independently verify names, identities, occupations, locations, or other information appearing in search results.

• Face Finder is not an identity verification service, background check service, or consumer reporting agency.

• Results must not be treated as legal evidence or definitive proof concerning an individual.

• Results must not be used for high-impact decisions involving employment, housing, insurance, credit, education, immigration, healthcare, law enforcement, tenant screening, or similar matters.

• Face Finder does not control, verify, endorse, or guarantee information published on third-party websites.

You remain responsible for independently evaluating information obtained through Face Finder.

7. User Images

You retain any ownership rights you have in images submitted through Face Finder.

By uploading an image, taking a photo, or submitting an image URL, you confirm that:

• You own the image or have the necessary rights or permission to use it.

• Your submission and use of the image comply with applicable law.

• Your use of the image does not violate another person's rights.

• You voluntarily submit the image for the purpose of performing the requested search.

By submitting an image, you authorize Face Finder and its applicable third-party service providers to process the image only as reasonably necessary to:

• Perform the search you request.

• Return and display relevant search results.

• Operate and maintain the App.

• Detect fraud, misuse, abuse, or security threats.

• Meet applicable legal obligations.

Face Finder does not claim ownership of your submitted images.

Any processing or retention performed by an independent third-party provider is subject to that provider's applicable policies, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

Face Finder relies on third-party service providers to deliver certain functionality.

These providers operate independently and may maintain their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and data-retention procedures.

FaceCheck.ID

FaceCheck.ID provides the reverse image face search functionality used by Face Finder.

When you initiate a search, your selected image is securely transmitted to FaceCheck.ID for the purpose of processing the requested search.

Search information returned by FaceCheck.ID may include visually similar images, similarity scores, thumbnails, source links, and related information.

FaceCheck.ID processes information according to its own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Google Play

Google Play may provide services relating to:

• App distribution.

• Payment processing.

• Subscription management.

• Purchase verification.

• Refund processing where applicable.

Purchases and subscriptions made through Google Play are also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.

Google Firebase

Face Finder may use Google Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, App performance, and stability monitoring.

Applicable technical and diagnostic information may be processed by Firebase according to Google's privacy practices.

Face Finder does not control the independent operation, availability, content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party services and websites.

9. Credits, Purchases & Subscriptions

Some Face Finder functionality may require search credits, a paid subscription, or another form of paid access.

Eligible purchases are processed through Google Play.

If you purchase an automatically renewing subscription:

• Your subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date.

• Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Google Play account.

• Uninstalling Face Finder does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Search credits:

• May be used only for eligible Face Finder functionality.

• Have no cash or monetary value.

• Cannot be transferred to another person or account.

• Are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Google's applicable refund policies.

Available subscription plans, prices, credit amounts, promotions, and paid functionality may change from time to time where permitted by applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

Face Finder and its software, interface, graphics, design elements, logos, branding, text, and other proprietary materials are owned by Face Finder or its applicable licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Face Finder for lawful and non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the App without authorization.

• Modify the App or create unauthorized derivative works.

• Reverse engineer or decompile the App except where expressly permitted by applicable law.

• Remove proprietary, copyright, or trademark notices.

• Use Face Finder's branding, logos, or intellectual property without authorization.

All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.

11. App Availability

Face Finder may be updated or modified over time.

We may:

• Add, modify, restrict, or remove features.

• Release App updates.

• Modify available subscription plans or pricing.

• Introduce or discontinue functionality.

• Temporarily suspend certain services for maintenance, security, legal, or technical reasons.

We do not guarantee that Face Finder or any individual feature will always remain available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Certain functionality may depend on third-party services, network connectivity, device compatibility, operating-system requirements, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Face Finder where we reasonably believe that:

• You have violated these Terms.

• You have used the App unlawfully or abusively.

• Your activity may harm another person, Face Finder, or a third-party service provider.

• Your activity creates a security or operational risk.

• Action is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or legal obligations.

You may stop using Face Finder at any time by uninstalling the App.

Termination does not affect rights, responsibilities, or liabilities that arose before termination.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Face Finder is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Face Finder and its service providers disclaim warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and security.

Face Finder does not warrant that:

• The App will always operate without interruption or errors.

• Search results will always be accurate, relevant, complete, or current.

• Similarity scores will correctly identify any individual.

• Third-party services will remain continuously available.

• All bugs, errors, or technical issues will be corrected.

You use Face Finder and its search results at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Face Finder, its owners, developers, affiliates, licensors, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:

• Your use of or inability to use Face Finder.

• Search results, similarity scores, or incorrect matches.

• Third-party websites, services, or content.

• Loss of data.

• Loss of business opportunities or profits.

• Loss of reputation or goodwill.

• Service interruptions or technical failures.

• Unauthorized access to information.

Face Finder provides search functionality only. You remain responsible for how you interpret and use search results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Face Finder, its owners, developers, affiliates, licensors, employees, contractors, and applicable service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or reasonable legal expenses arising from or relating to:

• Your use or misuse of Face Finder.

• Your violation of these Terms.

• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations.

• Your infringement of another person's rights.

• Images or other content you submit through the App.

• Your misuse of search results or third-party information.

These obligations may survive termination where permitted by applicable law

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable by a competent court or authority, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

The remaining provisions will continue to remain valid and enforceable.

Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:

• Face Finder features or functionality.

• Third-party services.

• Security or technical practices.

• Legal or regulatory requirements.

• Business or operational practices.

When material changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date displayed at the beginning of these Terms.

Your continued use of Face Finder after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree with an updated version, you should stop using Face Finder.

18. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Face Finder is operated, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Where permitted by applicable law, if a dispute arises concerning Face Finder or these Terms, the parties should first make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through good-faith communication before pursuing other available legal remedies.
