Special Education
With a twenty-plus-year background in education that includes roles as a Resource Teacher, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and General Education Teacher, I have had the privilege of supporting students in various capacities. My experience includes evaluating students for special education services, writing and monitoring IEP goals, and collaborating with general education and specialized instruction teams.
Building strong relationships with students is key to motivating them and driving their achievement, and I am committed to creating an individualized learning environment where every student can thrive. I want your child to bring their authentic self to school daily and feel a sense of belonging. We will work together to develop confidence and personal agency. Let me know how I can provide additional support here.
I focus on spending my free time with my husband Dan and our two dogs. We hike, bike, ski, camp, see live music, cook and eat amazing food, and spend time with our friends. Word games, crossword puzzles, and realistic fiction bring me joy.
