Welcome to Ridgway Secondary School! As I begin my seventh year as principal, I continue to be grateful for the opportunity to serve this outstanding school and community.

I have been an educator for more than 32 years, including 18 years teaching mathematics and English. Throughout my career, I have also enjoyed coaching high school and competitive soccer, helping students grow both on and off the field.

My family and I love calling Ridgway home. We enjoy snowboarding, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, rock climbing, and exploring the beautiful San Juan Mountains with our dog, Murphy, who is always eager to show off his Frisbee-catching skills. Whenever we have the opportunity, we also enjoy traveling and relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean. My wife, Gin, is also an educator, and we are proud parents of three wonderful children: Becca, a landscape architect; Parker, an aerospace engineer; and River, an entrepreneur.

I would like to thank our students, families, staff, and the entire Ridgway community for the incredible support you provide our schools. Your partnership makes Ridgway Secondary School a special place to learn and grow. Together, we will continue to aspire to inspire.
