Hena Khan

One of Hena's favorite parts of growing up were her trips to her local public library in Rockville, Maryland. She loved reading Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary and as she grew older, stories like Little Women and Lord of the Rings became some of her favorites. She's written about a bunch of topics, from spies to space travel, that take her out of her reality and on adventures. She's had quite a few adventures of her own, managed to get to some pretty fantastic places on our planet, and met incredible people along the way. Hena is slightly obsessed with Spain, ceramic tiles and pottery, food, flamenco, and good coffee. When she's not cooking up a story, she's often actually cooking food or baking treats for her family or friends. She also spend a good chunk of her life writing and editing for international organizations that work to improve the health of people around the world.
