RIDGEWOOD HS RECORDING STUDIO
Ridgewood HS (NJ) Recording Studio
Established in 2017 with generous support from the Ridgewood Education Foundation, the RHS Recording studio is staffed and managed by the RHS Recording Studio Club. The studio is located in room 145 (near the band room on the first floor) of Ridgewood High School. The RHS Recording Studio is a fully equipped recording studio offering a recording environment for bands and groups looking to record a demo, mixtape, single or an album.
In addition, the studio offers a wide range of quality microphones, professional outboard equipment, virtual instruments and plugins. Our studio includes a control room and a live room (able to accommodate anywhere from 1 person to a full jazz band!). Our objective is to make your recording studio time as enjoyable, comfortable and professional as possible.
Recording Studio Club
Also established in 2017, the RHS Recording Studio Club (formerly the RHS Music Production Club) is open to any student at RHS who wants to learn about music production, software, share your music, listen to music, or get involved in recording inside the studio. The club meets every Wednesday at unit lunch and every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in the recording studio (room 145). Come to a meeting if you want to join the crew!
Vocal Booth
With generous support from the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation, our Vocal Booth was added to the Recording Studio during the 2021-2022 school year. The vocal booth gives the studio a dedicated vocal tracking room in addition to high quality audio capabilities for all recording needs.
