About Me
Hello families! My name is Stacey Helmig, and I am very excited to be back at Ridgeview for my 13th year as a kindergarten teacher! I look forward to a positive year where your child and I can grow and learn together. All of my students become a part of my school family which I cherish each and every year.
I live in Saybrook on a Christmas Tree Farm with my husband Brian. We have four children; Isabella, Sophia, Aidan, and Evangeline. Two of my children will be moving to Ecuador and the Florida Keys as they pursue their education and careers. One daughter will be home pursuing a nursing degree through ISU. My youngest child, Evangeline will be starting high school at Ridgeview. My husband Brian also works at Ridgeview as a bus-driver and as a paraprofessional.
My most recent accomplishment was obtaining my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University in June 2024. Previously, I graduated in 1995 from Governors State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
