Hello! I am Mrs. McCoy. I live in Normal with my husband Ryan and our boys Cooper (7), Colson (4), and Cohyn (2). This is my eighth year of teaching. I am living my dream teaching kindergarten!

I attended Illinois State University. I graduated in May of 2019. I received my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education along with a letter of approval in Special Education. I also earned my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in technology at ISU in May of 2023. Go Redbirds!

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year! I am looking forward to having your child as a student. Kindergarten is such a fun year with so many wonderful learning activities to celebrate. In order to have a fun year, my most important goal is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners. In order to accomplish this, I have planned a variety of activities to emphasize and reinforce this goal. It is my hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.
