I have enjoyed being a school counselor for over 10 years. I thrive on doing whatever I can to help students, families and staff. I sincerely care about the well-being of the students I work with. In my off-time, I like spending time with my husband and two sons. I recharge by getting out of the house and being around people.

I miss working with students in-person and I look forward to the day we are all able to come back to the school building. Until then, I am still here to serve, connect and listen.

I am so excited to be here at VRMS. This is my second year as a school counselor after graduating from Western Washington University. Before becoming a school counselor I was a Washington Reading Corps Teacher and a YMCA After School Program Teacher. I love getting to know the stories of students and their families.

I am from Kelso, Washington and am excited to be closer to home. For fun I like to plan events, snuggle my three cats, spend time with my family, practicing kick boxing, and traveling. I love Marvel, Netflix, and maps. My favorite book series is Harry Potter - feel free to stop by and tell me what house you are in!

Dear VRMS Students and Families,
Welcome to the new school year! I am the Connection Center Mentor and I want you guys to know that the connection center is still open virtually. You can check out my virtual Classroom in the "Virtual Connection Center" link above. There are two different classrooms so please feel free to explore both of them. I am excited for you guys to connect with other students and myself.
This is my third year at SRIS and VRMS, before that I was a Treatment Service Specialist in Montana. I worked in an elementary school alongside a therapist and I learned that I love working with kids. Being in the Ridgefield School District has made me love helping students even more and I can’t wait to connect with you all when we get back!
I grew up in Vancouver, moved to Montana when I was 19 years old and moved back to Washington last August. I have a cat named Beyoncé, I used to play college softball and I’m obsessed with sharks. Video games, sports, hiking and hanging out with friends are my hobbies! I love jokes so whenever you see me, I hope you bring your best joke!
