Must have taken at least 2 theatre classes (or taken 1 and enrolled in a 2nd) to be considered
Serve as role models to the department, be a welcoming presence
Be on campus at RHS for some portion of the day
ATTEND BONDING EVENTS
Pick up any work that is not completed by others, odd jobs, etc.
Must have excellent skills in: organization, communication, meeting deadlines, problem solving
Encourage positive leadership in others, encourage officer board to do their best work and try new things
Have a “we” mentality, not an “I” mentality
COMMUNICATE! With each other and your troupe director.
Acknowledge that you make mistakes, learn from your mistakes
Take initiative, find out what needs to be done and do it ASAP
RECRUIT for CLASSES and shows!
Be PASSIONATE about Thespians and the RHS Theatre department
President(s):
Festival Registration: collect registration forms, keep track of Thespy info and State info
Help with Thespys organization
Banquet & Inductions: work with adults and officers to organize banquet- decorations, awards, PowerPoint’s, gifts, induction, speeches, etc.
Announcements at Thespian meetings & put important information on the callboard
Make sure that officer board is working cohesively and is completing tasks on time
Assign tasks to other officers
Communicate with your troupe director and coordinate/plan officer meetings
Training/Recruiting prospective leaders in the department
Honor Troupe w/Secretary
Secretary:
Keeps attendance at meetings and events for both Thespians and Non-Thespians
Keeps track of the number of points each student starts with at the beginning of the year, and ends with at the end
Keeps track of points for both Thespians and Non-Thespians for the year
Keep track of overall Honor Thespian status throughout the year
Keep track of paperwork relating to Thespians
Maintains a list of inductees, including their first, middle, and last names, the number of points they have, and their contact info
In charge of the Troupe Student Square and communicating often
Types up to-do/checklist for each officer and meeting notes

Theatre Advocacy Chair/Historian(s):
Making frosh night presentations
Making sure we are on track to earn Honor Troupe status
Planning Thespian-specific events for bonding
Planning Thespian community service events
Plan Thespian outings to other shows

Take pictures at every event and share them with the social media manager
