The 2023-2024 school year will be my eighth year as an educator. It will be my second year teaching at Ridgefield High School.  Before coming to Ridgefield, I taught seventh grade Language Arts at Meyer Middle School in River Falls, Wisconsin. I also spent several summers teaching 10th - 12th grade English for an Upward Bound summer program.  I earned my bachelor's degree in secondary education  for Broad Area English from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and my master's degree in teaching and learning from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. When I am not teaching, I love to read, run, listen to music, hike, and spend time with my wife, Shannon, and our three pets.
