Introduction
My name is Mr. Hicks, and I am teaching Physical Science and Chemistry at Ridgefield High School during the 2024-2025 school year.
I am from the mountains in Southern California, where I went to Rim of the World High School. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2009 with a B.S. in Physics, and completed my Master's in Education in 2014 while I was teaching Chemistry and Conceptual Physics at El Modena High School in Orange, California.
I have taught high school Physical Science, Conceptual Physics, Chemistry, & Physics, middle school Math and STEM. I have also coached Track and Cross-Country.

I will be available to meet with and help students during SPUD time every day that it is offered.Â
I will also be available after school every on Tuesdays and Thursdays if students make an appointment in advance.
