In work-based learning opportunities students gain real-world exposure to early childhood education before committing to a career path. They can test their interest and abilities in a professional setting, not just a classroom. Work-based learning helps them make informed decisions about post-secondary education or career choices.

What we've done
What we've done
Students put togetehr a Parents Night Out where families could leave their children with RHS students for two hours to play games, crafts, decorate cookies and eat pizza. The event was a success, RHS students and their visitors had a great time!
We visited both the Early Learning Center and Union Ridge Elementary school campuses. Students spent the morning shadowing teachers, working with young learners and participating in activities. Students enjoyed using their knowledge from our course work in the field.
