Environmental Science - Course Description

Environmental Science is a multidisciplinary field that explores Earth’s natural systems and humanity's impact on them through a holistic lens. This year, students will examine Earth's complex systems while developing a deep sense of place and understanding their distinct role in the local ecosystem. Grounded in CTE environmental education, the course goes beyond scientific concepts to build effective teaching skills by empowering students to learn how to educate youth on critical environmental, cultural, and political issues so they can serve as active, inspiring citizens in their communities.
