Hello, it is wonderful to meet you!
I'm Mrs. Whitton - I hold a Masters of Science in Science Education from Oregon State University and a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife & Ecosystem Science from the University of Washington.
I have had the joy of being in education since 2001. Teaching has taken me all over the world - I've taught in Spain, Poland, England and the United States! I have also taught a wide variety of subjects - Biology, Physical Science, Environmental Science, Biomedical Science (CTE), English as a Foreign Language, Outdoor Education, Geography, and Art Textiles!
Before teaching I had exciting adventures in the Peace Corps - Bolivia, and trekked the forests of Hawaii and Washington State as a Bird Biologist.
My favorite things to do are traveling with my husband and our two daughters, listening to an endless list of audio books, crocheting, running, hiking - and birdwatching!
I truly love teaching and learning alongside my students - there is always something new to discover and explore!
